MPPSC AE Selection Procedure
The Council has changed the selection procedure for MPPSC AE in the previous year. According to the new selection process, the selection of engineers under the Public Services will be based on the following factors:

- Students of the General category need to score a minimum of 40% marks in the online exam. In contrast, the students with reservation categories need to score at least 30% to qualify for the next stage.
- The second stage of the exam involves a personal interview.
- The personal interview stage is reached by students thrice the number of available vacancies. This selection is based on the score of their online exam.
- Before the personal interview, the students will need to submit their documents to certify their eligibility. This process is required and cannot be skipped. A failure to present the necessary documents will result in disqualification.
- The final selection for recruitment on the available vacancies will be based on both stages’ cumulative score.

MPPSC AE Exam Pattern
The pattern of MPPSC AE is straightforward. The exam is held in two stages:
- Online Exam
- Personal Interview
The Online exam consists of two sections comprised of MCQ type questions:
- related to MP (35 questions)
- India (10 questions)
- World (5 questions)
- Disciplines of the selected Engineering Stream (150 questions)
Section A consists of 150 marks, while Section B consists of 300 marks. The maximum marks for this exam is 450 marks.
There is a negative marking scheme on this exam. Every correct answer gains you three marks, while for each negative answer, 1 mark is deducted.
